Early Career
Wyatt bats and bowls off break for the right hand and is a useful all-around player. After transferring from Gunnersbury at the end of the 2012 season, Wyatt played Northern Premier League cricket for Staffordshire Ladies and Meir Heath Women, as well as men’s club cricket for her local club Whitmore.
She was granted a contract with the MCC Young Cricketers program in 2010, allowing her to continue her cricket education with regular sessions at the MCC. In April 2014, the European Central Bank announced that she would be receiving one of the first group of 18 central contracts for women players.

Professional Career
Before joining Nottinghamshire in 2013, she was a member of the Staffordshire cricket club. She stayed for two years as a player before relocating to Sussex. For her first season in the Big Bash, she signed on with the Melbourne Renegades in 2015. In the first season of the Kia Super League, she played for the Southern vipers. She is regarded as one of the best fielders in the world and has a reputation for bowling tight lines.
In 2014, she competed with the English women’s team at the Women’s Twenty20 World Cup. She has a hundred in every format she has played in.
After a stellar 2017 season, she was recognised for her efforts by being included in the ICC Twenty20 International Team of the Year.
Against Pakistan in Malaysia in 2019, she made her first one-day century. She had been working for the ECB part-time for a while, but after demonstrating such consistent performance, they offered her a permanent position that same year.
The English T20 World Cup team included Danielle Wyatt in 2020.
During the 2018–19 Big Bash season, she has been playing for the Melbourne Renegades.
In 2018, she had one of the best T20 innings ever for a female cricket team. She became only the second woman in the world, behind West Indies’ Deandra Dottin, to score two T20I hundreds in the Tri series when she scored 124 (off 52 balls) against India. Her inning was second only to Meg Lanning’s 126 for Australia. And after Dottin’s miraculous effort off only 38 balls, her knock was the second fastest.
